SUP Yoga at Veterans Park
Take your yoga practice off the mat and on to the water with SUP YOGA! Designed to build core strength and balance SUP Yoga Classes include a basic paddling warm up, followed by a vinyasa flow series on the boad. Those brand new to Stand up Paddle Boards and SUP are welcome, but some yoga experience is recommended.
REGISTRATION & CANCELLATIONS:
*We will paddle out at 6:30 p.m., so please arrive a few minutes early. If you are not present at the start of class your spot may be released to someone on the wait-list. If you purchase a 3 class package, make sure that you make a reservation for each of the 3 classes individually. We need to reserve the boards ahead of time, so if you are not going to make it to class please be sure to cancel with at least 72 hours notice to avoid being charged for class. *In the event of class cancellations due to bad weather, we will notify everyone via email and have students reschedule for a different date if possible. If you are unable to reschedule a class cancelled due to weather, you will receive a full refund.
LOCATION & WHERE TO MEET:
*Meet at the Wheel Fun Rentals Hut on the Lagoon in Veterans Park. The address for Veterans Park is 1400 North Lincoln Memorial Drive, however where you need to turn off of Lincoln memorial on to Lagoon Drive to get to the Wheel Fun Rentals hut and the lagoon. The best way to find our location is to just search directions to «E. Lagoon Drive, Milwaukee» in your smartphone or GPS. If you are headed South on Lincoln Memorial Drive, make a left turn at the stop light at lagoon drive (it is just past Collectivo). If you are heading North on Lincoln Memorial Drive, make a right turn at the stop light at lagoon drive (it is just before Collectivo). After you turn on to Lagoon drive, just follow the curve for about 500 feet and you will see a parking area (PARKING IS FREE) and the Wheel Fun Rentals Hunt. It is a small brown hut on the edge of the lagoon with SUP boards, and paddle boats etc.
