My Annual Pass?
It's easy. When you get to the rental kiosk, ask a Wheel Fun Rentals employee for an Annual Pass. They can easily process your rental at the same time. When you become an Annual Pass holder, you'll get an extra half hour added to your rental the day you join, and 50% off all your rentals thereafter for a year.

You can use your Annual Pass at more than 60 locations across the country! Just present your pass to any participating location for an automatic 50% off any one human powered vehicle.

Free For Alls are perfect for groups with riders of different abilities - riders are let loose on a buffet-style-ride-anything you want party. Surrey Scavenger Hunts are perfect for groups looking for a challenge! We set you up in teams and send you off in a Surrey with a list of riddles, clues, and questions to be solved. First group to complete the scavenger hunt WINS!

Learn About This Tour
Your self-guided bike tour takes off from our location in
Balboa Park, the largest urban park in the nation. From there, zoom past
museums and other Spanish Renaissance-style buildings while you take in all
that Balboa Park and the surrounding area has to offer. During your tour,
you’ll have the opportunity to lock your bike up and visit any of the six
museums you’ll pass on your way through the city.
In addition to its unique architecture, Balboa
Park is also known for its gorgeous landscaping. The park features the Trees
for Health Garden, a garden that includes plants that are used for their
medicinal properties. The Inez Grant Parker Memorial Rose Garden is another
example of the park’s landscaping, showcasing more than 180 types of roses from
more than 2,500 different rose bushes. You’ll also get to cruise around
Spreckels Organ Pavilion, home of the world’s largest outdoor pipe organ.

What's included on my tour?
Our self-guided tours include your choice of bicycle, a route map with all the great points of interest and historic facts about the area, a helmet, bike bag or basket, and a bike lock. Plus, our rental clerks are happy to help you select the perfect bike for your adventure.
What do I need to bring?
We have your ride and route covered - so all you need to bring are comfortable clothes and shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, and your camera. And don't forget to bring some cash for lunch or a snack along the way! Bike bags/baskets are provided on all bikes for easy storage of items.

How long is the tour?
While on one of our self-guided tours, you can expect to be out exploring for 3 to 4 hours. This includes approximately 2 hours of riding time and 1 to 2 hours for lunch, shopping, photo opts, and exploring the area.
