Managing Google & Yelp Reviews

Review websites, like Yelp, Google, TripAdvisor, etc., where your guests rate their experience after visiting your location have a significant impact on a location’s web presence, SEO, and likelihood that a potential customer will decide to rent. They are one of our most powerful tools in strengthening our online presence and driving more customers to our locations.

WFR Central monitors Yelp (and other online listings) to ensure correct and current contact information, hours, and website URLs are posted for every location. However, it is up to each Franchisee/Manager to encourage 5-star reviews at a local level, and to respond to any negative reviews.

If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to use the YELP or GOOGLE Review Cards to generate more customer reviews after happy customers rent. These cards make it easier than ever for your happy customers to write a review with an included QR code (that customers can scan with any smartphone camera) and custom vanity URL that link directly to a new YELP or GOOGLE review form for your location.

Optional and recommended strategy: Run a staff incentive for positive reviews. As an example, WFR Central pays staff members $5 for every 5-star review that gets posted with the staff member’s name on it.
