One of the most exciting and unusual ways to explore Solvang is via a Surrey bicycle from Wheel Fun Rentals. My family isn’t the most athletic bunch, so I was a bit wary of having all six of us (my dad and stepmom joined us on the trip, so it was a multi-generational affair) attempt to navigate downtown Solvang on a Double Surrey, and, while I’d be lying if I said it was easy, it turned out to be one of the most unusual and exciting pursuits in which we’ve engaged as a family. The kids in particular got an absolute kick out of the experience, and it really was a fun way to check out the town while bonding as a family . . . .
