Self-Guided Bike Tour

Ventura to Carpinteria Bike Tour

Explore Carpinteria and the Pacific Coast Bike Route! Cruise along the Pacific Coast Bike Route where you'll see Surfer's Point, the Ventura River, Mussel Shoals, Tar Pit Park, and Carpinteria State Beach. This self-guided bike tour is included FREE with half-day and full-day rentals

This self-guided bike tour starts under the Ventura Pier, where paved sidewalks run up the coastline to the beachy town of Carpinteria.

On your way up to the Ventura River Trail, you’ll ride by Surfers’ Point in Ventura, one of the most popular surf spots in Southern California. You’ll then cruise past creeks, rivers, nature preserves, serene famous state beaches, and other local points of interest. Set aside some time (and cash) for a snack at one of the local dining spots, too!

Included FREE with half-day and full-day rentals, the full tour is a moderate level tour, though many people choose to turn around when they are ready—making this a great sightseeing excursion for all levels of riders.
