As the sun sets, the sparkling illuminated Swan Boats transform Echo Park Lake into a glowing nighttime destination, creating the perfect backdrop for a romantic date night, a family outing, or a memorable evening with friends. Guests can relax on the water beneath the city skyline while celebrating one of the nation’s most historic Independence Day celebrations. The pedal-powered Swan Boats feature LED lighting for evening rides, creating a magical experience unlike any other in the city.

To accommodate holiday visitors, Echo Park Lake Swan Boats will remain open until 11:00 p.m. on Friday, July 4, giving guests plenty of time to enjoy an evening cruise before and after the fireworks. Swan Boat rentals are $13 per hour for adults 18 years and older and $7.50 per hour for children 17 years and under and advance reservations are required and are expected to sell out due to high holiday demand.
