As we head into the end of the year, this is a good time to analyze, reflect, and evaluate your year as a whole. You’ll also want to set goals for yourself for 2025. The end-of-season evaluation serves as a good guideline and will be a very helpful tool to refer back to when you begin your next season.

The evaluation ensures that you ask the tough questions and really evaluate what worked, what didn’t, and where you should invest more time, energy, and/or money for an even better season next year. Before you go through this exercise, be sure to read the articles on Maximizing the Level of Operation and Presentation and Refurbish or Replace.

You’ll want to:

• Rate each area of your business from one to five.
• Outline specific challenges that you faced.
• Make notes on what areas you really succeeded in.
• Identify areas you could improve on.
• This is a great exercise to have your managers preform as well.
