About us

Fred H. Howard Park, named in honor of the former Tarpon Springs Mayor, is one of Pinellas County's best kept secrets.  The park is located in the northern part of the county and is situation on 155 acres fronting the Gulf of Mexico. As you explore the park you are sure to see endangered species like eagles, gopher tortoises, and fox squirrels. Be sure to stop by the butterfly garden.
