Wheel Fun Rentals Offers Free Rentals to Nonprofit Organizations in the Greater Milwaukee Area

Milwaukee, WI – Wheel Fun Rentals announces it will be offering FREE watercraft rentals this summer to nonprofit organizations in the Greater Milwaukee area!  Between June 4th and August 27th, Wheel Fun Rentals will donate rental equipment, completely free of charge, to two charities every Wednesday.

Officially named “Wednesdays with Wheel Fun Rentals,” this program offers local charities their choice of pedal boats, kayaks, canoes, and stand up paddleboards at Wheel Fun Rentals’ Veterans Park location in Milwaukee. The program accommodates two nonprofit groups each Wednesday with up to 20 participants in each group. Reservations are required, and dates book up fast. Nonprofits are encouraged to make their reservation as soon as possible by emailing wheelfunrentals2@msn.com.

“We already offer free pedal boat, canoe, and kayak rentals to Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteers, and donate gift certificates to local schools and charity organizations,” said Dwight Bratholt, local Franchise Owner.  “But I’d like to give back even more to the great community of Milwaukee.”

The showstopper of Veterans Park is the 14-acre, sparkling lagoon. Teeming with wildlife, the park is perfect for water enthusiasts to enjoy fishing for Largemouth Bass or feeding the ducks and geese from a wide variety of watercraft. Wheel Fun Rentals at Veterans Park offers two- and four-seat pedal boats, one- and two-seat kayaks, two-seat canoes, and one-person stand up paddleboards. Nonprofit groups have access to the full fleet of watercraft for up to two hours, so try them all!

Those looking for a slightly more physically demanding core workout can choose to take on the lagoon with stand up paddle boards, and glide across the mirror-like water. Safety instructions and life jackets are provided with every rental, so it’s safe and fun for adventurers of any age. The park is also perfect for picnicking, and is even within walking distance of the famous Milwaukee Art Museum.

The “Wednesdays with Wheel Fun Rentals” program is the perfect opportunity for nonprofits to thank their volunteers, show appreciation to donors, or use as a group and teambuilding event for staff. Of course, kids are welcome, too! Children of any age are permitted to use rental equipment with a chaperone that is at least 18 years old. Children 12 and older may use equipment without a chaperone on board. Reminder: only two nonprofits are booked each Wednesday and reservations fill up fast.  Nonprofit organizations should reserve their spot today by contacting Wheel Fun Rentals at wheelfunrentals2@msn.com.
