Huntington State Beach

This family friendly beach is connected to Huntington City Beach where there is plenty of room for bicycling, surfing, body boarding, skating and surf fishing. The beach also has fire rings for bonfires. At the southern end across Pacific Coast Highway are the Huntington Beach Wetlands, operated by the Department of Fish and Game

Huntington Beach Pier

This pier is the longest concrete municipal pier in California. A fixture in the city for over 100 years, it is the most visited landmark at Huntington City Beach. Check out Tower Zero, the state-of the-art lifeguard tower to find water temperatures, wave conditions and other information posted regularly. The U.S. Open Surfing Competition is held here every July.

International Surfing Museum

While visiting Surf City USA, you definitely want to visit the International Surfing Museum. ½ Block down Olive Street off Main Street you will find the museum, which highlights the surfing culture and showcases nearly a century of the best surf memorabilia that Surf City has to offer. Every aspect of the surfing culture is represented here with displays, concerts, catalogued surf artifacts, surfboards, surfing films, surfing music and plenty of memorabilia.

What's included on my tour?

Our self-guided tours include your choice of bicycle, a route map with all the great points of interest and historic facts about the area, a helmet, bike bag or basket, and a bike lock. Plus, our rental clerks are happy to help you select the perfect bike for your adventure.

What do I need to bring?

We have your ride and route covered - so all you need to bring are comfortable clothes and shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, and your camera. And don't forget to bring some cash for lunch or a snack along the way! Bike bags/baskets are provided on all bikes for easy storage of items.

How long is the tour?

While on one of our self-guided tours, you can expect to be out exploring for 5 to 6 hours. This includes approximately 4 hours of riding time and 1 to 2 hours for lunch, shopping, photo opts, and exploring the area. This route also makes for a great partial 1 to 2 hour tour.
