Wheel Fun Rentals Opens Swan Boat Rentals in Echo Park & Lake Balboa

Los Angeles – Wheel Fun Rentals is pleased to announce the opening of swan boat rentals at Echo Park and Lake Balboa, also known as Anthony C. Beilenson Park. Doors officially open Saturday, March 3rd, weather permitting, at these two new locations.
These new swan boat concessions are the result of a Request for Proposals (RFP) that was put out by the city. Of the four companies to respond, The Department of Recreation and Parks awarded Wheel Fun Rentals the 5-year contract, with a 5-year renewal option.
Wheel Fun Rentals is proud to bring the city of Los Angeles our award-winning service and unique swan pedal boats to Echo Park and Lake Balboa.
The Lake Balboa boat rental concession will be Wheel Fun Rentals’ second location within Anthony C. Beilenson Park. The company first opened its doors in the park in 2009, renting a large variety of bikes and specialty cycles on the north-eastern side of the lake.
Wheel Fun Rentals fills a unique outdoor leisure niche by providing the perfect opportunity to have some quality time unplugged from the stresses of this fast-paced city. The boat rental fleet consists of two sizes of swan boats, large and small, as well as an ADA hand-crank boat at each location.
Wheel Fun Rentals will provide year-round use of pedal boats from 9AM-Sunset 365 days a year, including holidays, weather permitting. One-hour rentals are $11 for adults and $6 for kids aged 2-17 years (infants are free). Regular visitors can save 50% off rentals for a year by becoming an Annual Pass Member!
