Guidelines for

Watercraft Rental

Rules Differ for Group Reservations

  • Renters must have a valid government-issued photo ID and be 18 years of age or older.
  • All rentals: one-hour minimum. After first hour all rentals are prorated in 15 minute increments.
  • We do not offer refunds for weather–Rain Checks Only.
  • Rentals returned after closing will be charged a$1 per minute late fee.
  • Damaged Goods-you will be charged for product damaged during your rental.

 

WATERCRAFT RULES

  • You must know how to swim to rent water products.
  • Life jackets must be worn and fully buckled at all times.
  • All paddling and safety gear is provided FREE with your rental.
  • Exiting/entering your boat from any place other than the designated launch area is NOT permitted.
  • Please be mindful of fisherman with their lines in the water. You must have a valid fishing license in Indiana.
  • No swimming or jumping from the watercraft.
  • ALCOHOLIC beverages are NOT permitted at any time before or during watercraft rentals.
  • Be certain you understand wind direction before you leave the launch area.

 

AGE LIMITS

  • All children under 15 years of age must be accompanied on the water by parent/guardian. (Max. 2 children per parent/guardian.) Additionally, riders must be 10 years of age or older to be on a Single Kayak or SUP.

 

WATERCRAFT CAPACITIES

  • Single Kayak: 1 person or 375 lbs
  • Double Kayak: 2 persons or 500 lbs
  • SUP: 1 person or 250 lbs

 

Review Release of Liability Agreement for full rental terms & conditions. All equipment rented is subject to the rules of operation.

Failure to obey is subject to immediate termination of rental without refund.
