White River Park to Celebrate Earth Day April 20
There’s lots to do at White River State Park this Saturday, April 20, in celebration of Earth Day (officially observed Apr. 22).
Visitors can enjoy the 30th Annual Earth Day Indiana Festival at Historic Military Park at White River State Park. The festival will include over 110 exhibitors, live music, food trucks, a beer garden, a 5K run/walk, an Eco-Easter Egg Hunt and much more.
Visitors can also stop by Wheel Run Rentals at WRSP’s 20th Anniversary Celebration and spin the Wheel of Deals for free rentals and other surprises. Visitors can also participate in the Earth Day Surrey ReCYCLE event presented by Wheel Fun Rentals and Keep Indianapolis Beautiful. Participants will help collect litter while riding a surrey in the park. For every bucket of litter collected, participants will earn one free rental.
