Brooklyn, NY – Wheel Fun Rentals is excited to announce the launch of a self-guided kayak & stand up paddleboard tour at Marine Park in Brooklyn. Recognized as the industry leader in recreation and leisure rentals, Wheel Fun Rentals’ latest offering gives riders an informative and fun excursion through the waters of Gerritsen Creek and around White Island Reserve. Guests can sightsee, relax, and paddle until their heart’s content on this exceptional self-guided tour.

This new self-guided tour offered by Wheel Fun Rentals is perfect for all skill levels. Paddlers can choose from a single or double kayak, or a stand up paddleboard, to embark on their self-guided journey. Guests have the choice between two round-trip route options varying in duration. The 1-2 hour tour is perfect for stand up paddleboarders or novice kayakers, and a 2-3 hour tour for those looking for a bit more of a challenge. With a myriad of points of interest, riders will have plenty of landmarks, ecosystems and animals to admire, learn, and explore! Self-guided kayak and SUP tour maps are available at Wheel Fun Rentals’ location at Avenue U & East 33rd Street. Tour prices are $26 for a single kayak, $36 for a double kayak, or $32 for a stand up paddleboard (up to four hours in duration). Waterproof bags are also available to keep belongings dry and safe. Riders are fitted with life jackets and supplied with a large tour map with easy-to-follow directions and engaging points of interest. Riders should come prepared to get a little wet from the drip of their paddle and splash of the water. Dress for the weather: lightweight, synthetic clothing is best. Riders should prepare to be out in the sun, so sunglasses, sun block, water, and a hat that won’t blow off is recommended.
