Yorba Regional Park to Angel Stadium

This bike tour is great for both sports fans or nature lovers alike! Included FREE with half-day and full-day rentals, you'll cruise along the Santa Ana River and through multiple parks, including Riverdale Park and Steve Ambriz Memorial Park. The majority of the route is on a dedicated bike path away from vehicular traffic. Your last two points of interest are The Honda Center, home of the Anaheim Ducks, and Angel Stadium, which opened way back in 1964.

Your bicycle tour begins in the wildlife-filled Yorba Regional Park, which is about 140 acres. You’ll ride on the designated bike path Santa Ana River Trail and follow the Santa Ana River, the largest river entirely within Southern California. You’ll pass Chance Theater and go through Riverdale Park, which features picnic areas and a playground, and into Steve Ambriz Memorial Park, which has baseball diamonds, basketball courts, and tennis courts. After breezing by the enormous Honda Center, you’ll end up at Angel Stadium, which has been open since 1964, before you head back to Yorba Regional Park safely away from vehicle traffic. Yorba Regional Park

At 140 acres, these lush manicured grounds with an abundance of wildlife make Yorba Regional Park a popular getaway for many locals.

Santa Ana River Trail

The leisurely Santa Ana River Trail is a designated bike path safely tucked away from vehicle traffic that allows you to cruise up to 44 miles! As it flows to the ocean, the Santa Ana River chiseled a route through the San Bernardino Mountains, essentially eroding the earth to create a canyon. The Santa Ana River Trail runs parallel to the canyon.

Riverdale Park

This charming 9 acre park features picnic areas, drinking fountains, a baseball field, and playgrounds.

Angel Stadium

Opening in 1964, Angel Stadium is the fourth oldest active major league baseball stadium within the United States. Currently, the stadium is the home field of the Anaheim Angels, but also housed the Los Angeles Rams from 1980-1994.

Our self-guided tours include your choice of bicycle, a route map with all the great points of interest and historic facts about the area, a helmet, bike bag or basket, and a bike lock. Plus, our rental clerks are happy to help you select the perfect bike for your adventure.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

We have your ride and route covered - so all you need to bring are comfortable clothes and shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, and your camera. And don't forget to bring some cash for lunch or a snack along the way! Bike bags/baskets are provided on all bikes for easy storage of items.

HOW LONG IS THE TOUR?

While on one of our self-guided tours, you can expect to be out exploring for 5 to 6 hours. This includes approximately 4 hours of riding time and 1 to 2 hours for lunch, shopping, photo ops, and exploring the area. This route also makes for a great partial 1 to 2 hour tour.
