General FAQ
Do I need to make a reservation?
Reservations are required for our Sunset Guided Paddle Tour only. All regular rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis and no reservation is needed! However, we do accept reservations for groups of 12 or more and for weekday Pontoon Boat rentals. Contact us by e-mail at ECO@317outfitters.com or call (317) 327-7130 to make your group reservation or click below to book a weekday Pontoon Boat rental reservation.
What are your hours of operation?
Our rental hours vary seasonally and are weather permitting (55°F+ and dry). Please view the contact page for current hours of operation and follow our Facebook, X, and Instagram accounts for up-to-date closure information.

Is there parking nearby?
Yes, parking is available in the Marina Parking Lot at the end of Walnut Point Rd within Eagle Creek Park near our rental location. Please note that park entrance fees may apply.

What are the rental rates?
Rental rates vary depending on the equipment you choose and the duration of your rental. Most watercraft rentals and electric bike rentals have a 1-hour minimum duration. The minimum duration for Pontoon Boats is 2 hours. For detailed rental pricing and additional rental duration options, please visit the Rentals page.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept major credit / debit cards and cash.
Do you require a deposit?
A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all rentals. A $250 pre-authorization with a valid credit card is required for all motorized boat rentals.
Is there an age requirement to rent?
- Renters must have a valid government-issued photo ID and be 18 years of age or older.
- Electric bike riders must be at least 16 years of age or older.
- Minors must be accompanied by an adult on the water and all children under 15 years of age must be accompanied on-board by a Parent/Guardian.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are permitted on certain watercraft, and they do count towards the passenger capacity limit.
Safety & Policies
Do I need to know how to swim?
Yes, renters must know how to swim to rent any watercraft.
Are life jackets provided?
Yes, life jackets are provided and must be worn at all times when using any watercraft on the water.
What happens in case of bad weather?
Rentals may be paused or canceled in the event of rain, lightning, or high winds. We do not offer refunds for weather-related cancellations, but do provide rain checks.
Are there any restrictions for boat use?

- Exiting/entering your watercraft from any place other than the designated launch area is PROHIBITED and could be hazardous to you or the watercraft.
- Swimming is PROHIBITED in Eagle Creek Reservoir.
- Jumping from any watercraft is PROHIBITED; all renters must stay on watercraft.
- ALL inflatables, pool noodles, and towing of any kind are PROHIBITED.
- Pedal kayaks are PROHIBITED from entering Eagle Creek due to low water levels

Yes, we offer a self-guided electric bike tour of Eagle Creek Park FREE with all half-day and full-day electric bike rentals.
