General FAQ

Do I need to make a reservation?

No reservation is needed! All rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis. However, we do accept reservations for groups of 15 or more. Contact us by e-mail at wheelie@317outfitters.com or call (317) 363-9353 to make your group reservation.

What are your hours of operation?

Our rental hours vary seasonally and are weather permitting (50°F+ and dry). Please view the contact page for current hours of operation and follow our Facebook, X, and Instagram accounts for up-to-date closure information.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes, there are paid parking lots, street parking, and garages all within walking distance of our bike rental location. Click here for more information on parking in downtown.

What type of rentals do you offer?

4-Wheel Surrey Cycles (Single & Double)
Specialty Cycles, including: Deuce Coupes, Choppers, Quad Sports

Is there an age requirement to rent?

Renters must be 18 years of age or older with a valid, government-issued photo ID; minors must be accompanied by an adult. Electric bike riders must be 16 years of age or older.

How long is each rental period?

4-Wheel Surrey and specialty bike rentals are charged by the hour. After the first hour, all rental hours are prorated in 15-minute increments. Two-wheel bikes, electric bikes, and kids attachments are available in hourly, half-day (up to 4 hours) and full-day (up to 8 hours) increments. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit / debit cards and cash.

Do you require a deposit?

A valid, government-issued photo ID and credit card are required; a refundable damage deposit may be requested in specific situations.

Safety & Weather

What happens in case of bad weather?

Rentals may be paused or canceled in the event of rain, lightning, or high winds; we do not rent during unsafe weather conditions. We do not offer refunds for weather-related cancellations, but do provide rain checks.
