Lake Nokomis
Located right next to the pavilion on West Beach, Wheel Fun Rentals puts Lake Nokomis explorers in motion with a plethora of vessels for traversing land and lake. Intrepid adventurers can rent a range of vehicles, including Surreys or cruiser bikes. Feel like a kid again as you achieve low-to-the-ground glory with a Chopper, Quad Sport, or Deuce Coupe.
Once you’ve selected your rental roadster, cruise around the sparkling lake or gallivant along the miles of trails throughout the park. Those opting for water bound adventures can hop aboard kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, or pedal boats and traverse the lake.
Pedal over to the northeast shore and you will find the Lake Nokomis Naturescape. A variety of native flowers and grasses are featured in the gardens. After all the activity, you will need some refreshment – grab a drink and some ice cream at the concession stand or jump into the water at the beach.
